422 Extrication Upgrade

In 2016, Raymond Fire & Rescue Association passed a motion to upgrade the extrication equipment in our first due MVA truck 422.  ...

During the meeting, it was discussed of the importance to upgrade the cutter for effective extrication the new breeds of metals and construction of today's emerging vehicles. During this upgrade it was also deemed appropriate to make more ergonomic decisions of how our equipment is used. Typically on the scene of an accident where extrication is required, the time used to set-up to actually do work can be up to 6 - 10 minutes. By a more static mount and use of reels for the hoses, a crew can act in a matter of minutes once on scene.
